Former parishioners and supporters will celebrate the 150th anniversary of St Patrick historic church and cemetery in Cedar Township Saturday, Aug. 13.
The day will begin with mass and the opening of the cornerstone at 11:30 am, followed by lunch at 12:30 pm. A Heritage Parade of Families will take place at 2:15. Handmade wood kaleidoscopes will be auctioned at 3 pm.
Also available throughout the celebration will be a self-guided cemetery walk, pioneer wagon trail rides, an antique tractor display, children’s crafts and activities, funnel cakes and ice cream, music in the air-conditioned church, and more.
